The B-BALL project made its first official international step—and in an impressive way.

The French town Fondettes hosted the first international event of the B-BALL project, dedicated to the social inclusionof people with special needs through sports . The gymnase was barely able to contain the energy, emotions, and positive vibes that accompanied this incredibly inspiring event.

People with special needs from France and Bulgaria showcased their basketball skills in front of over 100 spectators. The event reached its climax in the final second of the friendly game between mixed teams of participants—children from the annual basketball camp and people with special needs. It was then that Lachezar Stoyanov scored a decisive three-pointer at the buzzer, electrifying the hall and sparking wild celebrations—the audience rushed onto the court to celebrate with him.

This was a moment filled with emotion, inspiration, and a true sense of shared victory—a symbol of building bridges between two parallel world and destroying barriers .

Beyond the sports activities, the event also included workshops where key topics related to « Inclusion through sports » were discussed. Participants exchanged ideas, good practices, and visions for future initiatives.

The B-BALL project is proof that when sport is used as a tool for social integration, faith in goodness and the potential for change comes alive. With small but meaningful steps, we continue to build bridges and break down barriers.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to our partners from « AS de » for the excellent organization, warm welcome, and unforgettable emotions. We eagerly look forward to our next meeting—this time in Belgrade, Serbia!
